Chip Repair

A chip repair is done when the blemish from a rock is the size of a quarter or smaller. The chip repair process involves removing the air from the blemish and injecting a resin and curing it with a UV light.

The process takes about 20 – 30 minutes.

The process will not make the chip disappear! It is meant to keep the windshield from cracking. And if the chip is in the driver’s line of vision we cannot do a chip repair. Since it does not disappear it is still a distraction for the driver.
